With my experiences blogging I've learned that there are two essential aspects that should be implemented and not left to chance. If you're not taking advantage of these simple strategies you may be missing out on valuable opportunities to grow your blogs readership and eventually monetize your traffic. These two techniques alone will greatly enhance the quality and value that you convey to your blog readers.
1.Technique number one Ask Your Readers To Take Action:
Though this may seem simple you would be surprised at how many bloggers there are that don't actually take this step. It's very simple to do and here's an example of how I use this technique with my blog, first I write a blog post about the topic or niche of my choice, I try to keep my post educational and informative in an attempt to teach my readers something of value that they could use to better their life.
At the end of the post I place a simple call to action asking my reader to do something. For example: I would say "If you found this post informative sign up to receive my free news letter". It's very simple but in essence very effective.The key is to get your readers accustomed to taking some type of action after reading your post. It could be to purchase an affiliate product or sign up to an opt-in form, putting this technique into practice could potentially grow your readership, your list and even increase your conversions in some cases GOOD LUCK!
2. Technique Number Two Write Articles Worth Reading:
Again this is another common sense technique that should be submitted into your blogging arsenal. I know what you're thinking "DUH" I Know that already, but before you bite my head off here's the deal. No one wants to hear about you or your day, I know that seems cold hearted but it's inevitably true. Most web surfers are becoming more internet savvy and are more than likely looking to solve a specific problem pertaining to issues concerning their life.
This brings me to the subject of the HOW TO Article. The How To article is a tutorial, it addresses a specific problem or need or answers a question your potential reader may have. How to Articles bring in a lot of traffic because they are giving the searcher an answer to a question or, a solution to a problem that the searcher could then use to improve their life. It is very important to incorporate this type of article.
When you do this your readers will grow to trust you and look at you as an expert in your niche, market or field. You will find that your posts are being indexed in the search engines from all your readers linking to your great content!
